About the Program
The Toyota Motor team participates in a reforestation plan at their 3.1 acre facility in Guanajuato, Mexico. As of 2023, the team has planted over 26,000 native trees and shrubs including mezquite, palo dulce, palo prieto, huizache and lantana. The forested area serves as habitat for the caracara. Employees also receive training on environmental regulations and sustainability objectives each year.

- Over 85% of the individuals planted since 2018 have survived. The team monitors the health of the vegetation and the habitat on an annual basis, in addition to regular reports on wildlife sightings.
- Over 2,000 employees and site visitors received training to learn more about the caracara and its habitat.
