Situated in Virginia, the Front Royal Terminal is managed by Titan America, LLC, embodying a commitment to sustainable land management and conservation. At this location, three distinct projects are actively contributing to the preservation and enhancement of local ecosystems. The Front Royal Terminal's commitment to these three projects showcases Titan America, LLC's dedication to sustainable land management practices. By creating and maintaining pollinator meadows, avian bird habitats and contiguous grasslands, the site exemplifies a harmonious integration of industrial operations with conservation efforts, contributing to the overall health and resilience of the local environment.

Practices and Impacts:

• Since September 2010, the project team has managed and monitored fragmented yet unified pollinator meadows covering approximately 0.75 acres.
• Consistent observation of the pollinator meadow, particularly in the summer months, showcases a rich biodiversity including four key species: coreopsis, wild bergamot, purple coneflower and black-eyed Susan. Notable wildlife sightings include deer, foxes, snakes and turtles, reflecting a thriving ecosystem.
• With a focus on specific tree swallows and house finches, birdhouses were strategically placed within the pollinator meadow, fostering nesting and foraging opportunities.
• Ongoing efforts to preserve and enhance the grassland ecosystem foster biodiversity and ecological balance.
