About the Program
Mesquite Creek Wildlife Habitat Area, a part of WM, is located in New Braunfels, Texas. As part of an expansion, the Mesquite Creek landfill needed to remove several acres of previously viable wetland habitat. While they were required to replace this habitat elsewhere on their site, they have worked to ensure additional habitat beyond the required acreage is also available for native wildlife.
