About the Program
The Cadillac Service Center program is operated by DTE Energy in Cadillac, Michigan. Cadillac is located in Wexford County, which is in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan approximately 220 miles northwest of Detroit. Nearby water bodies include Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac. The DTE team planted a landscaped garden of native flowering plants and grasses on-site, covering an area of around 0.1 acres. The project team works to maintain the diversity of plants and remove invasive species in order create a healthy habitat for pollinators and other wildlife. The efforts are aligned with the Michigan Pollinator Initiative and Million Pollinator Garden Challenge.

- The team photographs and records the plants and wildlife in the garden to assist with maintaining species diversity and identify any invasive species. During the most recent inventory, the team recorded 16 species of vegetation in the garden.
