When Birds and Corporate Habitats Collide
While many of our conservation projects are built to attract birds, not all corporate habitats are suitable for birds.
Each year, millions of birds die from collisions with windows. A year-round occurrence, bird strikes can happen at virtually any type of building – commercial, educational or residential. The problem is especially evident during migration season. In addition, excessive bird droppings and nesting materials at roost sites may cause health risks to humans and create other problems on public buildings and grounds.
In this webinar, you’ll learn:
- What causes bird strikes and ways to reduce or eliminate these strikes on buildings at your site
- Various techniques to effectively and humanely manage, control and deter birds at your habitat

- Lindsay Jacks, Coordinator, Lights Out Baltimore
